Afro fusion Stews & Fufu

Our Afro fusion Egusi stew is made with the toasted and ground seeds of the Egusi melon, simmered in a stew of tomatoes, sweet peppers, onions, garlic and spices, including a pinch of smoky Cameroon (penja) pepper. Served with fufu

Our Afro fusion Okra stew is made with okra, tomatoes and onions; stewed slowly with fresh garlic, a pinch of ginger and Cameroon pepper, for a spicy comfort food. To create this delicious fusion of African and African diaspora cuisines, we cook our okra using a special technique that makes it delicious and flavorful but eliminates the slimy texture.

Oxtails slow cooked in Ethiopian spicy berbere sauce until perfectly tender, served with seasoned rice and gomen (Ethiopian style collard greens).

Goat slow cooked until very tender in an East African coconut curry sauce. Served with pilau rice and plantains.

Tender & juicy roasted lamb with savory Moroccan seasoning and sweet, spicy harissa carrot sauce. Served with couscous and roasted vegetables.

Grilled Salmon smothered in a savory Yassa sauce made with caramelized vidalia onions, garlic, mustard seeds and other savory spices. Absolutely delicious. Served with jollof rice and plantains.

Includes spicy nut-free suya sauce, which is a tomato-based sauce that includes sweet peppers and a nutty taste derived from ‘sunflower butter’ served over Afro fusion spicy jollof rice.

The Selassie - Inspired by the very spicy tatstes of Ethiopia & Eritrea. Includes sweet, spicy berbere sauce, which is a sauce made of deeply carmelized red onions and Ethiopian berbere spice mix, served with gomen (Ethiopian spiced collard greens) over seasoned rice - injera included upon request.

The Sahara Inspired by the succulent tastes of North Africa
Includes savory, lemon garlic sauce, olives, carrots & sautéed caramelized onions served over couscous, perfectly season with North African spice ‘ras el hanout’

The Swahili – Inspired by the savory tastes of East Africa
Includes creamy, coconut curry sauce, sweet plantains, savory pilau rice cooked in coconut milk & spices of cumin, cinnamon & cardamom.
